Don’t let the cute looking exterior and artstyle fool you, this Visual Novel can be surprisingly dark, and it really caught me off guard since I went into this blind. But that’s what I also like about this Visual Novel, it was very different from some of the others I’ve read. I’m not going to spoil anything about what happens, but lets just say… Prepare yourself if you’re considering to read this one. Sally Face

The UI is pretty barebones, there is no option to skip backwards or reverse your choices. There is a backlog which allows you to read text that you may have accidentally skipped, an autoplay, a fast forward and a skip function. The Visual Novel does autosave your progress so you don’t have to worry about saving all the time, just close the game and continue where you left off later. The English translation is a bit overdone. For example, all of the honorifics have been completely removed, an example of this is “Aoi-chan” being translated as “Awee”. There is no option to turn the honorifics on, nor is there an option to play this game in Japanese… A bit of a let down on that front.
